Margo Greenlaw

Margo Greenlaw recently relocated from Grand Valley State University in Michigan, where for three years she taught a variety of video production and film studies courses in the Film/Video Department. Previously she has taught TV/video production, scriptwriting and theory courses at Temple University and film studies at Saint Joseph’s University, both in Philadelphia.  She is also a former board member of the Iowa City International Documentary Film Festival and former co-director of Iowa City Microcinema.

Professor Greenlaw’s films and videos blend documentary with experimental and narrative forms and have screened at festivals throughout North America and the UK. Currently, she is working on a documentary and collaborative website chronicling West Michigan’s era of “radical” feminism from 1970–1980.

She received her M.F.A in Film & Video Production from the University of Iowa and B.A. in French and Cinema Studies, University of Tennessee.
